Althorp House is not too far away. Staff at Sedgebrook Hall were very friendly, helpful and very polite. The food was very good, choices, tasty and nice sized plates for dinner. Breakfast was an ok English with some choices of cereals, toast and croissants. Free tea n coffee with some cake or cookies at the back of the bar area is a good thing. Didn't use bar.

The variety of food at dinner was nice. Breakfast buffet was good. The jacuzzi and pool were pleasant as well the having a sauna available. Nice to have random snacks out near the bar. The clipper tea selection was amazing. The grounds were nice and you could walk down to the pub at the bottom. Good value hotel break.

Location great. As a vegan when I compared it t to other hotels on my current trip it was a lot better BUT foods on offer need to be labelled so as we can ALL identify what is in e.g Granola ( it may contain honey) , by doing this simple thing it saves time as busy staff are not being asked questions & having to leave to check with chefs, it saves money as you have less waste & it can & does prevent allergic reactions etc and it is very appreciated. Ideally vegetarian/vegan/gluten free etc should be separate from other foods because on 2 occasions this morning I saw people who do clearly do not have dietary requirements use tongs etc to pick up meat & egg products that were clearly for beans and the other for mushrooms & tomatoes. Due to this “cross contamination “ we could not eat any of those things. Hotel staff all friendly & welcoming. Room was super clean & comfortable. Location great.

It's in a beautiful countryside location. I travelled by train to Northampton and was going to travel on by bus, but the bus station was chaotic so I gave up and caught a cab here. I'm disabled by arthritis, and worn knee cartilage, so I walk with a walking stick now. There are stairs but after a few days I realised I could access places better by using outdoor paths. I was exhausted when I arrived from London so spent the first two days sleeping a lot and recuperating. Then I booked for another 3 nights and started to use the leisure and spa facilities. I loved the peace and quiet, my west-facing sunset room, the charm and kindness of all the staff, the breakfast and lunch options, the outdoor bar area for dusk birdsong, the hotel garden and grounds and just the general ambiance. I will return. I changed rooms straight away as I wanted a room with a bath. I loved my room but it was darker than the original room as it had a smaller window.

Second time staying here for the British Grand Prix weekend. Hotel was reasonably priced taking into account F1 was in town! Great location - about a thirty minute drive from Silverstone. Hotel is in beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfy and cosy. Lovely shower. Staff friendly and helpful. We didn’t have enough towels in the room on check in but the reception team quickly rectified this so it wasn’t a problem.

Our room was excellent. A huge comfortable bed, all very clean and tidy. Lots of little extras including a little blanket for our dog (although it is expensive for him to stay). The shower was big with plenty of water pressure. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made time to stop and chat while making sure all was well. Our evening meal was much better quality than we expected with plenty of it and at breakfast there was a large choice on the buffet. I would definitely recommend

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Sedgebrook Hall. The room was very clean with lovely little freebies in the room. Bathroom was nice and clean and hot water. Only downside was the walls were quite thin and on our first night we could hear next doors tv until quite late. The pool is a lovely bonus with sauna and jacuzzi, despite being a little dated it was exceptionally clean :) The food was amazing and for someone who is dairy intolerant I found the menu absolutely brilliant- all the desserts were already vegan or dairy free which I didn’t expect at all! Very happy and lovely staff :)

Staff could not do enough to help, food was very good, a solid 8 out of 10, straight foward system of a food credit allocated from pre paying for an evening meal, we were able to order what we wanted and only pay any difference, we were easily able to have 3 courses each within the pre paid amount. Self serve unlimited full English breakfast with good quality food like thick cut bacon. 1400 check in available and 11.00 check out spa facilities open till 22.00 Good value for money. Although local tourist attractions did not appeal to us personally everything that did was within an hours drive, we could have gone to several places from sedgebrook Hall we eventually settled on a day in Cambridge.
